Customer Relationship Establishment & Business Opportunity Expansion
Proactively gain insights into the Web3 industry, identifying potential customers such as cryptocurrency exchanges, HFT (high-frequency trading) firms, and crypto institutions. Identify key decision-makers and assess customers' actual needs.
Initiate conversations using the customer's language, advocate various products and infrastructure solutions, and build effective business pipelines to drive long-term business growth.
Conduct regularly follow-ups to keep abreast of key information such as customers' technical evolving plans and budgets, organizational structure.
Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, building long-term operational and technical partnerships. This includes engaging, not limited to, CXOs and functional teams, to streamline high-quality after-sales support and conduct post-incident analysis.
Product & Technological Value Delivery
Leverage your understanding of the customer's industry and business background to help them recognize the technical value of Alibaba Cloud’s core products and AI/ML services. Highlight Alibaba Cloud’s competitive advantages to position it as the best partner.
Independently explain tailored Alibaba Cloud solutions to customers, and clearly communicate the competitiveness of Alibaba Cloud product solutions and the business value that can be created for customers.
Decision-Making Promotion & Business Opportunity Conversion
Facilitate quick decision-making from customers to adopt and continually use Alibaba Cloud’s products and technological solutions through effective resource integration and management, creating continuous value for customers.
Utilize various sales strategies, such as communication, influence, and business proposals, to convert business opportunities, achieve results, and create a win-win situation with customers.
Identify issues that impact the customer experience and drive internal solutions to address these problems, improving internal product solutions and processes.
Business Support
Provide customers with full lifecycle support, integrating all resources to ensure successful project implementation and resolving product usage problems.
Promote the rapid iteration of Alibaba Cloud products on the customer side and support customers in achieving technical goals.
Position Requirement
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent field.
Minimally 5 years experience in technology-related business development or sales experience.
Strong business and Web3 acumen.
Effective communicator and team player, passionate about emerging technology trends.
Proven track record of growth and quota attainment, covering customer business in markets not limited to APAC region.
Familiarity with the financial services industry and public cloud computing.
Proficiency in Mandarin is required as the role will need to coordinate with HQ in China.
5+ years of experience in public cloud, with preference given to those familiar with the overseas market and the Web3 sector.
