Create and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the company’s wholesale and direct retail operations, aligning with overall business goals and sales targets.
Seek out and engage potential business partners (wholesale accounts) in relevant markets, negotiating terms and agreements to establish partnerships.
Collaborate closely with each business partner to develop a strategic plan that includes market entry strategies, store growth, sales targets, and open-to-buy (OTB) plans to drive sales growth for both new and existing accounts.
Oversee the complete wholesale process, from order placement through delivery, ensuring precision and efficiency at every step.
Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both new and existing business partners, delivering exceptional service and support.
Work together with internal teams like store design and development, visual merchandising, marketing, and merchandising to ensure cohesive branding, product assortments, pricing strategies, promotional efforts, and e-commerce initiatives.
Examine sales data and market trends to uncover growth opportunities and optimize inventory management.
Keep track of competitor actions and industry changes in each market to remain updated on trends and best practices.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, regular sales performance updates, and inventory reports for management, offering insights into retail and wholesale performance and market conditions.
Train and oversee the support staff of business partners, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success.
Undertake additional assignments or projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related disciplines.
At least 8 years of proven experience in wholesale management and direct retail within the fashion retail industry, with a strong understanding of wholesale operations and customer relationship management.
Deep knowledge of SEA markets, namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam.
Strong business network in the retail and related industry across SEA.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, communications, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Good command in spoken and written English, and Chinese is a plus, as this role will need to have frequent communication with teams in Mainland China.
