Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate sales strategies and conduct sales activities, including preparing proposals for the company covering Singapore and its neighboring markets in the APAC region. The position is expected to develop short-, medium-, and long-term sales strategies based on the company’s business and operational policies, driving sales growth and business performance to achieve our targets.
  2. Collect and interpret market information, regularly reporting to management, especially focusing on opportunities in energy, chemicals, life sciences, industrial, and urban infrastructure in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to explore new business opportunities (new clients and new business domains) in our target areas.
  4. Identify key issues in the company’s business strategy and formulate sales strategies to address them.
  5. Take the operational lead in developing and adjusting sales strategies to meet the company’s financial targets.
  6. Take the operational lead in developing and compiling proposals by collaborating with relevant divisions/departments of the company, while creating winning strategies.
  7. Implement measures to explore new business opportunities (new customers and new business domains), and build and maintain trusting relationships with new customers based on the sales strategy.
  8. Lead negotiations with customers alongside the project team, including handling commercial and contract matters. This position requires managing various types of projects with several stakeholders (both internal and external), as well as effectively communicating with clients and possessing extensive knowledge of the business side of projects.
  9. Communicate with various stakeholders, including shareholders, partners, relevant government agencies, and customers (both existing and new) in Singapore and across the APAC region to build and maintain trusting relationships.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, including technical ideas and solutions, to achieve sales targets by ensuring the best possible services and effective communication with clients.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 7 years of business development experience in the Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, or infrastructure-related industries in sales, including handling more than 3 awarded projects with a value of 50MM USD or more.
  2. Must have experience in Project Management, with skills in managing the entire project lifecycle, from engineering design and procurement of materials to construction (EPC/EPCM), while acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
  3. In-depth practical knowledge and understanding of contractual practices and contracts in EPC projects.
  4. Technical and/or engineering knowledge in energy, chemicals, life sciences, industrial, and urban infrastructure is preferable.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to think 'outside the box' to solve problems.
  6. Possess Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field or business administration.
