The Business Development Manager (BDM) is the core of the business where they are deemed as the experts of the field on the products and services they carry. The BDM manages the end-to-end sales cycle for their products to ensure growth and sustainability of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to cross-sell between selected vendors.
  • Identify and engage potential partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage vendor relations to ensure company interest.
  • Plan, oversee and work closely with Marketing Team to drive GTM for selected vendors with new marketing initiatives.
  • Periodic update of the Ingram sales reporting and pipeline reports, including accurate monthly forecasting and booking delivery
  • Manage ETA expectations for partners, ensure timely delivery and end to end sales process are on track.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits to partners and customers.

Requirements:

  • Preferably, educational qualification in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft CSP - Microsoft Modern Workplace is desired.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management or business development in the cloud or IT sector.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and services.
  • Ability to build reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners and customers and identify synergies across lines of business (LOBs) and acts on opportunities to integrate business, with credibility at all levels, including Lines of Business and CxO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showing strong competency in building value proposition and positioning strong proposals.
  • Successful track record of new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent over achievement against targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
