About the Business Development Manager Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across the Asian market. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and positioning our company as a valuable partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Primarily responsible for promoting and selling manufacturing systems, customized automation solutions, and build-to-print services in Singapore and globally.
  2. Identify and develop new customer base within targeted manufacturing industries (Biomedical, life sciences, electronics, semiconductor) to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  3. Collaborate with Technology and Engineering teams to understand and meet customer requirements through product and performance specifications review.
  4. Lead Sales Kick-Off meetings to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently.
  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  6. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  7. Gather information on competitors' strategies, products, capabilities, installations, and customer feedback to inform management.
  8. Prepare annual sales forecasts and present regular performance reports and reviews; analyze sales performance against KPIs and take corrective actions to achieve targets.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in automation solutions industry.
  3. Familiarity with equipment/automation solutions trends and manufacturing processes.
  4. Experience in selling equipment level and/or customized automation solutions is highly preferred.
  5. Possess a strong network of customers.
  6. Effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
