As the Business Development Manager (BDM) for Ross Camera Motion Systems, also known as Ross Robotics, in the APAC region, you’ll lead and execute strategies to grow the Ross Robotics footprint across APAC. Your role includes driving sales, supporting Regional Sales Managers, and building relationships with clients, resellers, and industry stakeholders. This will include providing demos, project management and some commissioning services to become a key bridge between customers and the product team, you’ll gather feedback to inform product development while positioning our solutions as the premier choice in the market.

This role is ideal for a driven professional with a passion for broadcast robotics, a knack for building relationships, and a deep understanding of the broadcast and media industries in the APAC market.

What the job is all about:

Business Development & Market Growth:

  • Develop, execute, and manage business development strategies to expand Ross Robotics in APAC.
  • Drive sales efforts by negotiating and closing deals while maintaining healthy pipeline growth.
  • Identify and target new markets, industries, and geographic opportunities to grow the business.

Client Relationship & Sales Support:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for regional sales managers and partners, providing product expertise and strategic insights.
  • Build and nurture relationships with end-users by visiting customer facilities to promote Robotics products.
  • Lead product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to clients, partners, and resellers.
  • Help sales teams position Robotics products for competitive tenders (RFPs) and showcase their technical advantages.

Training & Market Insights:

  • Train sales teams, solutions architects, and partners to effectively differentiate Robotics solutions.
  • Gather and analyze market and customer feedback to share insights with product development and R&D teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date competitive analysis and ensure accurate documentation for the Robotics product line.

Industry Engagement:

  • Represent Ross Robotics at key tradeshows and events, building brand awareness and showcasing our solutions.
  • Collaborate with product management and business development peers to define long-term strategies and explore emerging opportunities.

Who you are:

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or product management, preferably in broadcast robotics or adjacent technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the APAC business landscape, with experience working across diverse cultures and markets.
  • Strong technical knowledge of robotic systems, broadcast standards, and camera motion technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with an ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Requirements:
