A business development manager's responsibilities include:
Identifying opportunities: Research the market, identifying new clients and business opportunities, and attending industry events.
Building relationships: Developing relationships with potential and existing customers, and maintaining good relationships with business partners.
Creating plans: Developing business development plans, sales and marketing strategies, and financial projections.
Leading teams: Leading teams, delegating tasks, and providing on-the-job training.
Managing resources: Managing business resources, including manpower and internal assets.
Making decisions: Making business decisions independently, and meeting sales targets.
Producing reports: Preparing sales presentations, producing reports for management, and developing business reports.
Negotiating: Negotiating business deals.
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
Proven sales track record.
Experience in customer support is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
