Manage Logistic Sales and Business Development in Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, and Warehousing.
Deliver presentations to customers in South East Asia and Australia, initiating regular business trips for sales activities.
Promote customer retention, cross-selling, and upselling.
Build and lead a strong Business Development team to achieve both short-term and long-term targets (monthly/semi-annual revenue & profit performance review).
Establish a national supply chain strategy to ensure the team grows quickly to become a top-tier logistics company in South East Asia and Australia.
Lead a team of international freight/express sales and cooperate with procurement experts to drive team performance and deliver results.
Monitor trends in Air & Ocean freight rates and work with procurement experts to secure competitive pricing and stable space.
Achieve sales targets and present performance in reports and internal meetings (weekly/monthly/semi-annually).
Manage and monitor sound Business Opportunity (Inventory) levels of all Sales Teams in South East Asia and Australia.
Set up Go-To-Market strategy by region and ensure sales activities align with this strategy.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
Advanced level of English; other language skills are a plus.
QUALIFICATION:
15+ years of experience in logistics.
5+ years of experience in New Business Development/Sales.
Experience in leading, directing, and managing in a global forwarding company.
Experience with large-scale, long-term contracts and global accounts.
Familiarity with logistics IT systems (FIS/WMS/TMS).
