Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to supercharge FoodToo's drive to change the food waste landscape. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing F&B outlets, which includes onboarding, training and managing them.

• Merchant Acquisition: Identify, approach, and onboard F&B businesses, including restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores.
• Partnership Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing partners to maximize their engagement on the platform.
• Collaboration: Work with the marketing, product, and operations teams to enhance user experience via feedback from merchants.
• Data & Insights: Track performance metrics, analyse trends, and advise merchants on optimal strategies.

• Passion for Sustainability: Interest in food waste reduction and creating impact-driven solutions.
• Experience: 2+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or a related field, preferably in F&B, tech startups, or sustainability.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and comfortable working in a start-up environment.
• Network: A strong network in the F&B industry is a big plus
