Job Description:

You will participate in the development and expansion of Phillip Nova’s business activities for the retail and high net worth segment. You are required to assist in client acquisition activities by following up on referred leads, participating in events, networking, and implementing other expansion strategies. You will also assist in following up with existing individual and institutional clients to provide timely personalized support to meet the clients’ trading needs. In addition, you will be involved in projects which will contribute to the overall development of business and enhance the customer trading experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the sales team to achieve Equities/Futures/Forex commission and volume targets.
  2. Build relationships with existing clients including High Net Worth individuals and active traders to increase client satisfaction.
  3. Provide support for sales activities and participate in team brainstorming to explore new marketing activities to increase business.
  4. Review and refine sales-related processes within the team.
  5. Execute daily sales administration activities and ensure inbox inquiries are responded to in a timely manner - e.g. answering customers’ inquiries, supporting customers’ onboarding process, etc.
  6. Undertake ad hoc assignments and projects – e.g. client outreach, platform training, general market research, etc.

Key Requirements:

  1. Minimum Diploma and above in any discipline.
  2. Well-organized and meticulous.
  3. A team player who is committed and self-driven, with the ability to respond positively to client requests for assistance.
  4. Proactive individual who is resourceful in providing alternative solutions for clients.
  5. A keen desire to explore and learn about financial markets.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication.

Advantageous to have:

  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present and speak in public settings.
  2. Certifications in CMFAS modules 1A, 2A, 5, and 6A.
  3. Good knowledge of Fundamental and Technical Analysis in the Equities/Futures/Forex market.
  4. Candidates with experience in the financial services industry.
