Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining a good relationship with existing customers
- Identifying new sales leads
- Arranging meetings with existing and potential customers to prospect for new business
- Effectively negotiating the terms, price, delivery, and specifications of agreements or sales contracts and closing sales
- Gathering and updating customer and market information
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
- Anticipating forthcoming product developments
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ business and requirements
- Promptly handling customer queries efficiently and accurately
- Consulting with Direct Report as necessary
- Internal reporting of sales progress
Requirements:
- Diploma in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' related experience in sales
- A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn
- Pleasant personality, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong customer service and sales skills to generate sales
- Experience in the Marine industry will be an advantage
