Business Development Executive/ Manager (Freight forwarder MNC)

• MNC Freight forwarding company
• Perm role with comprehensive benefits (AL, Bonuses - Commission, AWS and VB, medical benefits, company trip yearly)
• Mon to Fri, Office hours
• This is a Hunter role - comes with commission, AWS, VB, and allowances.

Job Responsibilities

• Promote the services provided by the company - Oceanfreight / Air freight/ Warehousing services.
• Plan business strategies to meet customers’ business objectives.
• Aggressively source and secure new accounts and business.
• Establish and build a pool of customers.
• Maintain professional working relationships and effective communications with existing and new customers, as well as all internal departments, affiliate offices, and partners.
• Achieve set sales targets and ensure all business transactions meet P&L objectives.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
• Ensure prompt payments for customer receivables.
• Provide accurate and timely sales reporting to the immediate superior or HOS.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or HOS.
• Identify new business opportunities by researching, identifying, and evaluating the prospective company's position in the industry.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics.
• Salary will be based on experience.
• Possess own transport (not a mandatory requirement) and willingness to travel.
• Preferably with 2-3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with knowledge of either sea freight or contract logistics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
