Business Development Executive (Logistics & Supply Chain, Japanese speaking)

Our client, a reputable Japanese Logistics company, is looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to support their sales activities!

Job responsibilities:

1. Responsible for overall sales activities and marketing program execution, work towards achieving daily KPIs and monthly sales target
2. Build, lead and set priorities/direction for the Sales & Marketing Division
3. Responsible for identifying and developing potential growth opportunities for local and overseas markets
4. Attending to customer's needs and requirements and to provide prompt after sales service
5. Enhance corporate and brand awareness
6. Set the objectives, establish marketing and promotional plans together with clients
7. Build and maintaining strategic relationships with new and existing clients
8. Generate leads from different sales activities and turns into sales opportunities
9. Promoting new services to existing and prospective clients
10. Performing client retention activities
11. Participating and spearhead in any sales and marketing campaigns relating to corporate sales

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in International Business, Marketing or related field with strong hands-on Sales and Marketing experience (Accounts Management/Business Development)
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in 3PL Supply Chain operation
3. Excellent writing and reading skills in Japanese and English
4. Fluent in Japanese to communicate with Japanese clients
5. Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills both in Japanese and English
6. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales target
7. Self-starter who can meet deadlines and enjoy working in a competitive environment
8. Proactive and Solutions-driven
9. Strategic thinker
