Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding Industry)

Job Scope:

• Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities locally
• Implement strategic plans to meet revenue targets and explore emerging markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored logistics solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
• Maintain close contact with customers regularly in order to build a strong rapport for more business support and market intelligence
• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Manager
• Achieve individual sales targets and exceed key performance metrics (KPIs)
• Provide support to the Operations Team when required

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Business and/or related field
• 3-4 years of strong hunting sales and business development experience in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Shipping industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in hunting responsibilities
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong follow-up and effective negotiation skills
• Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
