Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding)
- Basic: $3,500 - $4,000 (Depends on EXP) + Commission (after hit quota)
- Working Hours: 5 Days
- Location: East Region (Airport Cargo Rd)
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector for the client
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Present and promote the client’s services to potential customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics solutions
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance quotas
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and market demands
- Handle client inquiries, provide quotes, and manage follow-ups
- Manage and maintain a database of prospective and existing clients
- Prepare sales reports and proposals for management review
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and meetings to promote the client’s services
Requirements:
- Min 1 year of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- 6-months probation period
- GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification
- Own transportation with transport allowance (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Pleasant personality with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients
