Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding)

  • Basic: $3,500 - $4,000 (Depends on EXP) + Commission (after hit quota)
  • Working Hours: 5 Days
  • Location: East Region (Airport Cargo Rd)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector for the client
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Present and promote the client’s services to potential customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics solutions
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance quotas
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and market demands
  • Handle client inquiries, provide quotes, and manage follow-ups
  • Manage and maintain a database of prospective and existing clients
  • Prepare sales reports and proposals for management review
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and meetings to promote the client’s services

Requirements:

  • Min 1 year of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
  • 6-months probation period
  • GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification
  • Own transportation with transport allowance (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Pleasant personality with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients
