Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Executive to drive new account development within the landscape and facility management industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building strategic relationships, and promoting Terranex’s innovative solutions to establish a strong market presence.
Key Responsibilities
New Account Development:
- Proactively identify and target potential clients, including landscape contractors, municipal authorities, facility management companies, and property developers.
- Develop tailored strategies to onboard new accounts and meet specific client needs.
- Drive initial sales by showcasing the value of Terranex’s products and solutions
Client Engagement:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with new clients to establish trust and loyalty.
- Act as a key point of contact for new accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding and a positive client experience.
Product Demonstration and Advocacy:
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of robotic mowers, battery-operated tools, and eco-friendly solutions.
- Train clients on the proper use of products to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
Market Expansion:
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to refine strategies for entering new market segments.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on sales activities, new account development progress, and market insights.
- Meet and exceed quarterly targets for new client acquisition and sales revenue.
Relationship Management:
- Focus on retaining and growing newly acquired accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- Proven track record in business development or sales, with a focus on new account creation.
- Experience in the landscape or facility management industries is preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in building relationships.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with green technologies, robotic mowers, or battery-operated tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of landscape and facility management practices.
Education:
- Diploma or degree in business, sales, or a related field.
Other Requirements:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
- Valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and product demonstrations.
