Business Development Engineer, Factory Automation (In Process Chemical)

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the chemical manufacturing sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges
• Collaborate with our technical team to develop customized factory automation solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and technical documentation to prospective clients
• Coordinate project implementation and provide ongoing support to ensure successful outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar business development or sales engineering role within the chemical industry
• Strong technical expertise in factory automation systems, including PLC programming, sensor integration and process control
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable solutions for clients
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
