Job description

As Business Development Director you will lead the expansion of the business into the medical healthcare and fitness products in global market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, contract manufacturing, strategic partnerships and market expansion within the medical healthcare and fitness industries. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth in these sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the medical healthcare and fitness products market globally.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and contract manufacturing.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets with target customers for the healthcare and fitness product segments for business development and penetration.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a focus on the healthcare and/or fitness industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully expanding into new markets and achieving revenue growth.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of the medical healthcare and fitness products market in Singapore and global market.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the healthcare sector.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and close deals with key players and stakeholders.
  • Strong leader to lead and manage the business team to achieve company’s goals.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
