Business Continuity Management(Assistant Manager/Manager) - 1 year contract

Job Purpose

You will be part of the Group Operational Risk Management (GORM) Team to support the delivery of BCM Programme activities, primarily focusing on the BCM System Replacement Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating communication, coordinating BCM business requirements, and overseeing the system design, implementation, and testing process. This includes tracking issues and resolution, assisting in preparing training materials or user guides where needed.

The Job

1. Business Requirements: Work closely within GORM to gather, clarify, and document business requirements for system design and set-up. Ensure these requirements are effectively communicated to technical teams or project management teams for development and system design.
2. System Implementation: Work closely with the project management team for development and implementation that fulfills the BCM business requirements. Actively support the system implementation process, ensuring the solution is delivered within the project scope and timeline. Track any issues/tickets until resolution.
3. System Testing: Develop detailed test plans and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in accordance with the BCM business requirements. Track any issues/tickets until resolution.
4. System Integrity / Data Integrity: Perform system and data integrity checks, where required, to ensure that the system workflow is designed correctly and that data is migrated accurately.
5. Training / User Guides: Develop training materials and user guide documentation for internal usage.
6. Reporting / Escalation: Regularly update the GORM Team Lead with timely escalation of issues.
7. Assist in any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Supervisor, pertaining to BCM Programme Activities.
8. Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
9. Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
10. Highlights any potential concerns/risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Requirements

1. Polytechnic Diploma / University Degree.
2. At least 2 years of direct working experience in the BCM domain industry.
3. BCI or DRI accreditation will be an advantage.
4. Process relevant system implementation experience will be an advantage.
5. Self-motivated and driven, able to work independently.
6. Strong problem-solving and good analytical skills.
7. Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
8. Good time management and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
