Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Singapore. This role is part of a key program that aims at building the foundation of their new Trade Finance proposal and overall strong growth at regional level. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Program for vertical (Front-Office to Back Office) and transversal (across several functions) aspects during all its life cycle (from design to completion). What you'll do:

As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to identify business needs and translate them into specific requirements. You will be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle - from design to completion. Your role will involve working closely with various stakeholders including the Head Office & SG Squad, local IT teams, and software providers. You will also be expected to ensure Agile Methodology usage throughout the project. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying any potential challenges or risks and escalating them promptly.

• Identify business needs and translate them into specific requirements, backlogs and user journeys from design to testing.
• Collect Functional Target from the Head Office & SG Squad, analyze, understand, structure and improve it if required.
• Coordinate & challenge experts to put together a solution meeting business requirements, aligned on the Target.
• Formalize business requirements in User Stories format.
• Understand technical, integrations or development impacts of the functional objectives.
• Work hand in hand with the Head Office IT Team, Local IT Team and Software Provider team.
• Ensure Agile Methodology usage.
• Identify Technical & Functional Challenges, Risks and Issues, analyze them, document and escalate immediately to the Squad Lead.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Analyst role should have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Business Analysis within Trade / Transaction Banking processing chains and platforms. A good understanding of Corporate Banking products, especially Trade Finance is essential. Experience in Agile projects along with proficiency in writing high quality User Stories, Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and reporting skills, and an organized and delivery-focused approach are key to succeed in this role.

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience of Business Analysis in Front to back Trade / Transaction Banking processing chains and platforms.
• Good understanding of Corporate Banking products and especially Trade Finance.
• Experience in Agile Projects.
• Experience in writing high quality User Stories, Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good written/verbal communication and reporting skills.
• Organized and delivery-focused, with attention to details.
