Business Analyst (Intern)

We are looking for exceptionally smart individuals who possess strong problem-solving skills and have an avid interest in web or mobile development. You should be able to learn quickly and work independently, and while we will provide support to your learning, you must demonstrate tenacity and resourcefulness in overcoming challenges and acquiring new skills.
Responsibilities

1. Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner.
2. Document and present findings in the form of workflow diagrams, specifications, and other project-specific documentation.
3. Conceptualize business processes and present them visually using workflow diagrams and slide decks to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts.
4. Manage the project timeline, plan, and prioritize tasks in a constantly changing environment.
5. Participate and support various activities during the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, development in sprints, QA and testing, deployment, etc.).
6. Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that effectively presents progress and status of different aspects of the project to various stakeholders.
7. Deliverables may include the following:
   
   1. Architecture Diagrams.
   2. Cloud Hosting and Set-up (AWS or Azure cloud).
   3. Technical integrations with 3rd party systems.
   4. Performance and Load Testing.
   5. Solution Design / Technical Specifications.
   6. Data Extraction, Transformation, and Migration.
   7. User stories/functional specifications.
   8. Workflow diagrams to demonstrate business processes.
   9. Ability to learn and apply the company's Tech Stack such as C#, Python, .NET, VueJS, Flutter, Svelte, React Native, in day-to-day work.

Requirements

1. Students will be required to commit full-time hours per week for at least 6 months and above.
2. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to visualize workflows and translate them into digital mediums (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Meticulous and detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
5. Demonstrated aptitude for analysis.
6. Strong and avid interest in web and mobile applications.
7. Prior experience as a Business Analyst in a software delivery project would be advantageous.
8. Candidates with outstanding performance may be offered a full-time position upon graduation.

Learning Outcomes

1. Participate in daily stand-up meetings as part of the development team and understand agile development methodology.
2. Gain experience in applying existing academic knowledge in solving real-world problems.

To maximize learning, interns will need to be able and willing to commit full-time throughout the internship period. This commitment includes not having concurrent class schedules or other major conflicting commitments during the internship period, to ensure their active participation and engagement in our internship program.
