Business Analyst (DAI-FXN)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The candidate will act as a bridge between business needs and the technical team. Key responsibilities include analysing requirements, data analytics, designing systems, and ensuring effective implementation. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to gather, understand, and document business requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and Data Analytics solutions. Conduct requirement analysis sessions with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment of vision.
2. Analysis & Documentation: Document business and technical requirements, workflows, processes, and system integrations in detail.
3. Solution Design: Collaborate with Data Engineers, architects, and technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability and performance.
4. Process Improvement: Analyse current business processes and identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvements through technical solutions.
5. Testing & Validation: Assist in the development and execution of test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation validations.
6. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain system documentation, including data models, process flows, and architectural diagrams.
7. Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
2. Experience:
1. 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
2. Experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, and system design.
3. Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools, databases, or software development is a plus.
4. Experience in one of these domains would be a plus - Healthcare/Telecommunications/Banking and Financial services.
5. Strong understanding of Data Analytics as a domain, including Data warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Engineering and Data Science concepts.
6. Knowledge of SQL, APIs, system integration, data analysis tools and cloud technologies.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
