Business Analyst (Asset Management)

Summary

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
2. Evaluate current business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and suggest solutions to streamline operations.
3. Facilitate meetings and workshops with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and understanding of business needs.
4. Conduct data analysis to support decision-making, creating reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to provide insights into business performance.
5. Work closely with development teams to design and validate solutions that meet business objectives, ensuring alignment with system capabilities and business requirements.
6. Participate in the creation and execution of test plans, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are free of defects.
7. Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and project goals.
8. Prepare detailed documentation including business cases, use cases, workflows, and process maps to ensure clear communication of requirements and solutions.
9. Provide post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Requirements

1. Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
2. Financial services industry experience in Asset Management is preferred.
3. Possess working experience as a senior/lead business analyst for analytics projects in Asset Management.
