Job Description

II. Job Summary:

This is a broad-ranging Regional Business Analyst that conducts overall analysis and evaluation for one of our global client’s supply chains to help identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within their assigned region. This position will work to develop and standardize processes and workflows within and across regions.

III. Essential Functions: (Primary)

1. Responsible for data analysis, escalation, and troubleshooting of any regional supply chain performance issues.
2. Conducts monthly reviews with assigned regional control tower teams to understand performance trends and captures improvement plans as required.
3. Supplies report outs of performance trends to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Documents technical requirements as needed to allow for IT development teams to improve or fix software platform.
5. Conducts testing as required for technical changes and improvements.
6. Develops dashboards and other BI tools for both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Supports regional 4PL teams with data-driven projects and analysis.
8. Controls and manages updates to master data.
9. Supplies data and analysis for projects and sourcing events as required.
10. Interfaces with technical teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
11. Performs special reviews and projects as needed.

Job Specifications:

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong analytical capabilities.
2. Knowledge of MS Power BI or similar platform.
3. Strong knowledge of supply chain management.
4. Demonstrated utilization of business intelligence to achieve results.
5. Strong interpersonal skills; strong team player and excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks in order to achieve objectives.
7. Ability to perform in a multicultural matrix environment.
8. Ability to utilize and optimize IT resources to achieve process efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, major in Computer Science or Mathematics.
• Minimum of 2 years analytical experience.
• Business/supply chain analyst experience is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Desirable but Not Essential:

1. Industry experience.
2. Sound understanding of a service organization.
3. International Business Experience is preferred.

Travel/Meeting Requirements:

1. 10% travel as required, may be more during implementation periods.
2. Meetings and conference calls may be required outside of normal business hours to allow for global participation.
