Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in technology business analysis or data analysis.
Domain knowledge and/or experience with market/investment risk or investment compliance systems in investment/banking industries is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of advanced SQL for purpose of data analysis (e.g. understanding of data representation in systems, design data transformation logic, investigate data issues).
Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; a team player with a growth mindset and confidence to work independently.
Experience in the documentation of BRD, FSD, use cases, and business processes.
Strong communication skills and a team player.
Responsibilities
Problem Understanding and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems, particularly those related to investment risk.
Perform detailed data analysis to validate and refine business requirements.
Capture business logic in detailed specifications for developers to implement.
Develop meaningful and clear user stories that articulate business needs and technical requirements.
Ensure user stories are aligned with the overall product vision and objectives.
Validate proposed IT solutions with developers, senior business analysts, and users.
Propose alternative solutions when necessary, considering design or implementation constraints.
Create and update specification documents to capture system design, business logic, and business rationale.
Develop feature files for automated verification and regression testing.
Perform integration and functional acceptance testing.
Provide support for user acceptance testing and document test results.
Ensure that the final product meets the business requirements and quality standards.
