Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential energy/ utility wastages and recommend improvements to be taken to improve energy efficiency and utilities consumption
• Explore and recommend technologies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability standards within APAC
• Oversee protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping
• Manage A&A projects, including procurement of vendors, planning and execution of projects based in accordance to UPS requirements
• Delivers required regulatory training (e.g., Lockout Training/Hazmat Training) as directed, to Operations teams
• Maintain facility safety and environmental compliance in accordance with UPS programmes; assists conducting facility inspections and identifying operational improvements needed to promote safety in the facilities
• Dispatch BaSE Mechanic/conveyor vendors to complete necessary conveyor system repairs and Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs)
• Traveling to Southeast countries (up to 10%) to conduct facility inspections and audits

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering
• Display working proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCad
• Possess at least 7-10 years of relevant working experience
• Demonstrate strong project management skills and basic knowledge of project control and execution for A&A projects; ability to manage stakeholders across levels and lead a project team
• Demonstrate good communications and presentation skills
• Possess strong technical knowledge in energy management and relevant experience in sustainability; strong management skills to manage maintenance of multiple properties, including overseeing healthcare warehouses in Singapore
• Possess knowledge in energy management and promote sustainability efforts for multiple properties in the logistics/warehousing sector across APAC

Note: This position will be based in Gul/Tuas. However, there will be some traveling required within Singapore and within Southeast Asia.
