Responsible for handling all maintenance works & repairs of the building facilities services like carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, landscaping & others.
Responsible for troubleshooting faults related to all the facilities and infrastructure.
Planning & conducting monthly building inspections as scheduled like Emergency E-light/Exit Lights, windows & doors, water tanks, pest control, cleaning of RC flat roofs, plumbing works, electrical fittings, cleaning of 6U CCTV cabinets, Pandemic Cabinets & etc.
Assist in regular inventory management of estate department items and purchase materials for repair work purposes.
Work with term contract vendors to carry out schedules and supervise work on sites.
Assist in fire drills which are carried out 4 times a year and be part of the fire safety committee.
Assist in putting up decoration for festive seasons.
Attend to all lodged defects and requests and assist in attending feedback, requests, and extracting defects lodgment report every quarterly via Freshdesk system.
Other ad-hoc duties may be assigned generally for the purpose of the well-being of Boys’ Town, such as collection of donation-in-kind items (e.g., office furniture, food items etc.).
Complete the tasks assigned by the Estate Manager and work as a team with Estate & Project Coordinator, Snr Estate Executive & Maintenance Officers.
Assist the Estate Manager as required.
Attend emergencies after office hours if necessary.
Report to and provide regular feedback to the Estate Manager of Boys’ Town.
Average Qualifications & years of relevant experience
Minimum of WPLN Level 5 in speaking & listening and level 4 in Reading and Numeracy or higher or ISC in Electrical wiring, Residential Plumbing, Mechanical servicing & Facility Services or Higher Nitec in Facilities Management or Nitec in Technology -Build Environment (Mechanical & Electrical Services).
At least 1 year of relevant working experience is preferable.
Able to perform data entry using a database system and familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, flexibility, and team player.
Pro-active, independent, able to plan and oversee all maintenance work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Self-starter, hardworking and strong ability to multi-task.
Preferably possesses class 3 driving license & workshop safety & Health certification.
Not afraid of heights.
Working hours: 9am to 6pm on weekdays.
