Job description
1. Building Services Engineer (ACMV)
Job Description
Oversee in-house engineering design works of ACMV system, including detailed design, heat load calculation, shop drawings, hydraulic calculation, duct/pipe sizing, equipment selection, etc.
Manage ACMV design coordination with other trades with BIM coordination.
Liaise with ACMV suppliers for quotation, responsible for equipment selection, technical and commercial evaluation.
Responsible for material submittals for ACMV equipment and materials to the Consultant for approval.
Coordinate with project schedule in organizing Purchase Order, arrange timely delivery of all ACMV equipment and materials.
Attend technical coordination meetings with Main-con, Consultants and Employer.
Assist Project Manager and site personnel in planning, execution, and completion of projects.
Liaise and work closely with the Consultant, Employer, site supervisor and workers on the progress of M&E work to meet the project schedule.
Assist in the preparation of progress payment claims and variation orders as required.
Prepare documentation and carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC.
Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients in a timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards.
Participate in tender preparation works for new projects.
Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Min 5 years Singapore-based ACMV experiences in Construction Industry.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience and relevant knowledge in ACMV calculations including heat load, pump sizing, air flow rate, chilled water system performance, chiller sizing and configuration, fan sizing and more.
Experience of design and coordination skill.
Familiar with ACMV, Green Mark and fire code requirement with knowledge of basic design and necessary submission for tender bidding and construction, TOP and CSC.
Tender Bidding and Project cost Analytical and Critical Thinking.
Proactive and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Experience in Consultant Company preferred.
QP/PE, Green Mark manager or other BCA/SCDF/PUB authority certification is an advantage.
2. Building Services Engineer (Fire Protection & Plumbing)
Job Description
Supervise and coordinate site installation works with in-house supervisor and foremen to ensure the project schedule is met.
Attend site coordination meetings with main-con, consultants and other contractors.
Provide hands-on technical assistance for FP & Plumbing system installation and troubleshooting on site.
Prepare material requisition for all FP & Plumbing equipment and materials.
Prepare work programme for FP & Plumbing works with material delivery and installation activities in accordance with the project programme.
Analyse, manage and track project costs against budget.
Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC.
Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients in a timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards.
Participate in in-house engineering design works of FP & Plumbing system, including detailed design, calculation, shop drawings, pipe sizing, equipment selection, etc.
Review 3D BIM model and ensure correct installation details, compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
Participate in liaison with FP & Plumbing suppliers for quotation, carry out equipment selection, technical and commercial evaluation.
Prepare material submittals for FP & Plumbing system to the Consultant for approval.
Coordinate with project schedule in organizing Purchase Order, arrange timely delivery of all FP & Plumbing equipment and materials.
Participate in tender preparation for new projects.
Requirements
Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Min 3 years of relevant working experience in building construction industry, preferably in handling FP & Plumbing works.
Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Experience and relevant knowledge in FP & Plumbing design calculations and Project Management.
