Industry: Research and Testing Centre (Compound size)

Location: West area (Shuttle Service Available)

Schedule: 5-day work week (Regular Work Hours)

Skills: Hands-on, Building Facilities, Electrical and Repair Management

The position will be a SME / Lead level and also a hands-on Technician / Support for the Research Centre, it is a sizeable Compound area.

Position Responsibilities:

1. The primary scope is to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the Building Facility which will include (but not limited to) Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and major and minor work related to the building.
2. Handle projects and oversee Building Technicians who perform remedial works, audit inspections and engaging with third-party contractors (eg: Waste Management, Pest Control).
3. Handle purchase orders for parts replacements, severe maintenance or overhauling.
4. Will handle the documentation, coordination and operational aspect of building administration management.
5. Lead and support fellow Technicians in the day-to-day activities, perform guidance and coaching as necessary.

Position Requirements:

1. Technical Certification or Diploma in Engineering and/or Facilities Management, Building Services.
2. Ideally at 4 to 5 years’ experience in M&E Facilities experience, hands-on repair and maintenance. Will consider 1 to 2 years working experience for Non-Lead level position.
3. Comfortable to do hands-on repair and maintenance.
4. Good verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and colleagues.
5. Work arrangement, Mon to Fri at 830am to 530pm schedule - however, may need to render overtime for installation and repair that need to be done outside production hours - overtime and transportation allowance provided.
