POSITION SUMMARY

As our Coffee Specialist, you will act as our ambassador for Nespresso in the Boutique to welcome, advise, and guide a clientele loyal to up-market products in compliance with the quality standards defined in the Nespresso service offering.

You will create a delightful customer experience by ensuring that the boutique appearance is in accordance with company policy (well-ordered, correct equipment, properly presented), ensuring that the display cubicles are filled with capsules, machines, and accessories on a daily basis. You will welcome the Boutique clientele, identify their needs, and advise both prospects and Club members on Nespresso products and services. Additionally, you will initiate Club members to the art of coffee tasting and develop their curiosity about our full range of products, maintaining a pro-active approach towards customers to maximize the sale of all Nespresso products presented in the Boutique (coffee, machines, and accessories). As the Coffee Specialist, you are part of the team to ensure boutique operations excellence, such as compliance with the correct opening/closing of Boutique procedures and ensuring payments are made in order based on defined procedures. You will actively contribute to achieving individual and boutique targets.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

1. Excellent proficiency in English is essential.
2. Experience working with high-end/luxury/premium FMCG or retail brands is an added advantage.
3. Preferably at least 2 years of experience in direct customer sales and/or 2 years of experience in supervising/coaching a team.
4. Must have a strong work ethic, integrity, and total honesty (transparency and trust).
5. Service-oriented.
6. Passionate about constantly updating oneself with our Sales Guidance.
7. Curiosity and ability to generate creative ideas.
8. Able to communicate complex messages in a simple way.
9. Energized by tough challenges and is a team player.
