Opportunity: Business Information Security Officer - Asia Pacific

We are a specialized recruitment agency, thrilled to represent our premium client in the Financial Services Industry. Our client, a well-established leader in financial security and risk management, is seeking a highly skilled Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for the Asia Pacific region to enhance their Information Security department.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies across the Asia Pacific region.
2. Coordinate with global teams to oversee the execution of security projects and initiatives.
3. Ensure compliance with both internal and external information security requirements and policies.
4. Identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements.
5. Provide strategic leadership and guidance at the executive level regarding security standards and risk management.
6. Liaise with stakeholders to build a strong understanding of current and emerging cyber risks.
7. Direct incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches.

Key Skills

1. At least 15 years of experience in Information Security
2. Expertise with SecOps and/or Security Architecture
3. Strong understanding of complex IT infrastructures, including cloud security frameworks and multi-vendor environments.
4. Excellent strategic planning, communication, and presentation skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Expertise in regulatory compliance and information security standards specific to the Financial Services industry.
6. Ability to lead and motivate cross-cultural teams within a dynamic and diverse environment.
