BIM Engineer / Modeller

Job Description:

• Responsible for drafting and modelling for projects
• Independently space planning for equipment and pipe headers in equipment plantroom based on given layout
• Independent in drafting and modelling pipe routing based on given P&ID/Schematic/30% Design and given floor plan
• Run through with CMT the proposed routing and layout seeking input on constructibility and maintainability
• Space coordination with other trade partners BIM Engineer/Mgr
• Site Walk once a week to verify construction implementation
• Do up the red line and As-built drawings for handover documents

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer preferably in Semi-con, Data-centre, Pharma & Oil & Gas industries
• Proven mechanical piping project experience or in adjacent systems i.e. ACMV, HVAC, PCW, CDA, steam generation, exhaust, FOCS, to name some
• Good working knowledge of piping and support detailing (Piping Engineer)
• Able to read and understand structural drawings and plan pipe penetration/sleeves
• Proficient in using AutoCAD 2D, Revit 3D, and Plant 3D for drafting and modelling
• Able to hand sketch isometric drawings of equipment connections
• Familiar with detailing required for pump assembly, equipment assembly, valve stations
