BIM Drawing Manager (A1 Main Contractor) LXY

Our client, a well-known main contractor in the construction industry, is looking for talent as a BIM Drawing Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Involve and lead in checking and coordination of Shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works)
2. Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications
3. Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
4. Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.
5. Manage receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings
6. Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, Authorities and Subcontractors on design issues.
7. Assist the Project team on technical and coordination issues with Subcontractors.
8. Attend and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors
9. Assist the Project contracts department in variation order claims related to design changes.

Requirements:

1. Recognized Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
2. Min 10 years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry
3. Well versed in Autocad, Revit/BIM software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP. Candidates with experience in BIM projects are at an added advantage.
4. Good understanding of the Singapore Construction Industry regulations (e.g., Building code, BCA, URA and LTA)
5. Experience in leading a team of coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production, coordination, and document control.
6. A strong team player with strong initiative, independence, good communication skill, and ability to multi-task.
7. Advantage to the candidate with knowledge in Specialist trade works e.g., Curtainwall, Stone and Interior design works.
