BIM COORDINATOR (CSA / MEP)

• Location: Tampines / Woodlands (This position will be based at the project site and will require travel between the two locations as needed.)

• Working Hours: 5 days (8am to 5:30pm)

Job Description:

• Utilize 3D BIM software to create models for drawing documentation and streamlined team coordination.

• Produce construction-ready technical detail drawings, extract BOMs from BIM, and ensure full compliance with project specifications.

• Work closely with the BIM Manager to coordinate between the project team and external parties such as the client, consultants, and contractors regarding BIM information exchange and technical coordination.

• Set up the initial BIM project and technical administration protocol using office-wide or client standards and templates as applicable.

• Coordinate with project BIM teams across different disciplines to facilitate the timely completion of the model for regular BIM coordination meetings.

• Facilitate and assemble technical coordination models for clash detection meetings and other BIM-related coordination functions.

• Monitor and maintain the BIM model to keep models up-and-running and compliant with office-wide or client BIM standards as applicable.

• Support the project team in troubleshooting and resolving BIM issues and educate team members regarding office-wide BIM practices.

• Work closely with the project team, including those from other disciplines, to plan and prepare project deliverables.

• Provide support to the project team in duties related to BIM.

• Participate in office-wide BIM workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Contribute to the project by supporting the team with all BIM deliverable requirements.

• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working on BIM projects as a BIM Coordinator.

• Degree in Architecture/ Structure/ Mechanical or its equivalent.

• Excellent knowledge and experience of Autodesk Building Design Suite software including Revit Architecture.

• Experience in Navisworks and any clash detection software.

• Knowledge in BIM 360 / ACC.

• Well-versed in Singapore BCA BIM e-submission process, requirements, and guidelines.

• Completion of BCA Academy’s BIM Modelling and BIM Management would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of Dynamo and the ability to manage, read, and write scripts would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Twimotion, Enscape, V-Ray, BIM360 / ACC would be an added advantage.
