BIM & AutoCad Draftsman (Plumbing & Sanitary)

Job Description:

1. Develop detailed 3D models of building projects using BIM software.
2. Create accurate 2D drawings and construction details in line with Singapore's regulations.
3. Collaborate with project stakeholders to integrate their designs into the BIM models.
4. Identify and resolve clashes between different building systems.
5. Update and maintain BIM models throughout the project.
6. Extract quantity information for cost estimation and construction planning.
7. Ensure compliance with Singapore's building regulations and standards.
8. Perform quality checks on BIM deliverables.
9. Handle materials submission, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
10. Manage project administration, including support for tender submissions, quotations, purchasing, and inventory management.
11. Support the work done claim process with relevant documentation and drawings.
12. Provide training and support to team members on BIM software.
13. Attend site meetings as needed.
14. Perform administrative tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly and fosters a positive work environment.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in BIM software, especially Autodesk Revit.
2. Familiarity with Singapore's BIM practices and workflows.
3. Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
4. Ability to interpret 2D drawings and create accurate 3D models.
5. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
6. Problem-solving abilities for clash detection and resolution.
7. Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
8. A relevant diploma or degree in architecture, engineering, or drafting is preferred.
9. Previous experience in BIM modeling or drafting in the Singapore construction industry is a plus.
