Maintaining cleanliness in the bar area at all times.
Possessing a thorough knowledge and understanding of all beverage items on the menu including their recipes and staying updated on menu changes for both food and beverages including pricing.
Welcoming customers, actively listening to their preferences to recommend beverages. Be observant, detail-oriented, and courteous while ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience.
Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials by upselling.
Checking identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol.
Preparing and ensuring all bar mise en place is sufficient for daily operations. Following procedures for the opening and closing of daily operations.
Adhering to all policies set by the restaurant manager, including those related to food safety, quality standards, workplace safety, security, and hygiene.
Assisting in monthly inventory management.
Performing all other ad hoc duties as assigned by management to ensure the profitability of the restaurant.
