Bartender / Bar Captain

As a bartender / bar captain, you will be responsible for the following:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drinks orders.
2. Assist the Beverage team in planning drink menus and informing customers about new, special and signature cocktails and promotional activities.
3. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses and serving beverages to customers.
4. Be an active sales person at the bar to maximize sales and revenue.
5. Prepare and present beverage at company standards.
6. Address customer inquiries and questions.
7. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of bar area.
8. Manage site / outlet and equipment maintenance.
9. Handling cash, credit and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Energetic personality.
2. Creative and adaptable.
3. Excellent Customer Service Focus.
4. Team Player.
5. At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position.
6. Good knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
