Bartender

A bartender's job scope includes:

• Preparing and serving drinks: Bartenders prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, such as cocktails, wine, beer, and mixed drinks. They may also prepare garnishes and other bar supplies.
• Customer service: Bartenders interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service. They may also entertain customers by providing stimulating conversation.
• Maintaining the bar: Bartenders keep the bar clean and organized, and ensure that glasses and liquor bottles are displayed attractively. They may also restock supplies and keep the bar stocked with snacks.
• Processing payments: Bartenders collect money from customers for drinks and ensure that the drawer is balanced at the end of the night.
• Ensuring customer safety: Bartenders check customers' photo IDs to ensure they are of legal drinking age. They may also refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
• Inventory control: Bartenders may submit orders or create requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies. They may also assist with inventory and inventory control.

Bartenders may also plan and prepare drink menus, concoct their own drink recipes, and make their own drink accoutrements.
