Barista Supervisor

Job Summary

As a Barista Supervisor, you will oversee daily café operations, maintain high coffee standards, and train the barista team. You will play a key role in enhancing beverage offerings, optimizing workflows, and ensuring a seamless coffee experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee Quality & Service Excellence

• Ensure all coffee and beverages meet the highest quality standards, from taste to presentation.
• Maintain consistency in coffee preparation, calibration, and extraction methods.
• Engage with customers to provide personalized recommendations and enhance the café experience.

Team Supervision & Training

• Lead and train baristas on coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and customer service.
• Oversee barista schedules and station assignments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and support career growth.

Operations & Inventory Management

• Manage daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Maintain inventory levels for coffee beans, dairy, syrups, and other beverage-related supplies.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain product quality.

Innovation & Menu Development

• Assist in developing new coffee-based beverages and seasonal specials.
• Stay updated with industry trends to enhance the café’s coffee program.
• Provide insights to improve the customer experience and optimize workflow.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a barista, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, brewing methods, and espresso machine calibration.
• Passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, lead a team, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control is a plus.
