Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of the Organizational Risk Management processes to identify and highlight potential high-risk areas for the management team.
  2. Review documents related to outsourcing and third-party management, including policies, procedures, manuals, and outsourcing registers, to ensure compliance with the new MAS outsourcing Notice and Guidelines.
  3. Facilitate and support the outsourcing process and framework, ensuring alignment with MAS Outsourcing Guidelines, including the consolidation of outsourcing reports for MAS.
  4. Assist other departments with new and periodic reviews of third-party management.
  5. Support the establishment of a New Product Committee to evaluate and review new products or business initiatives.
  6. Review and maintain the BCM framework to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  7. Control, facilitate, and consolidate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) results from various business units.
  8. Plan, coordinate, and conduct BCP testing, including call tree exercises.
  9. Support the completion of the Residual Risk Assessment by collaborating with business units to identify key risks and controls, evaluate inherent and residual risks, and create mitigation plans as necessary.
  10. Identify and assess significant operational risk areas and control gaps, working with business units to mitigate risks and improve controls as needed.
  11. Organize and facilitate Risk Committee and Operational Risk Committee meetings for risk assessment exercises, ensuring action plans are in place for identified key risks.
  12. Maintain and develop a framework to manage environmental risks in accordance with regulatory expectations, coordinating with relevant departments.
  13. Assist and support the Head Office in all organizational and operational risk administration and project deliverables.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, particularly with hands-on involvement in outsourcing and BCP management, within organizational or operational risk management in financial institutions.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  3. Basic understanding of financial markets and risk processes, including risk reporting and post-approval monitoring.
  4. Solid understanding of the risk management process and experience in implementing process controls. Demonstrated experience in applying these methods effectively.
