Banking Application Developer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to develop banking application systems including Core Banking, General Ledgers, Payment, Digital Onboarding and other supporting functions.
• Participate in overall IT infrastructure and cyber security develop.
• Participate in evaluation of third-party application, as well as new IT initiatives for ongoing banking operations.
• Participate in the drill and execution of the bank's disaster recovery strategy formulated by the IT team and relevant departments.
• Involved in handling IT-related incidents of unplanned outages, failures and degradation in quality of IT services provided.
• Participate in change management and release management processes, consider code scalability and submit high-quality code.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development role, with a track record of getting things done in a dynamic environment.
• Related experiences in banking and finance services is preferred.
• Solid understanding and practice of any mainstream cloud computing infrastructure.
• Additional scripting and automation expertise will be an added advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge in Java, concurrent programming and RDBMS.
• Good knowledge in Unix/Linux OS, Cloud Computing, Message Queue and distributed storage.
• Strong interest in financial domains including any of Core Banking, Payment, eKYC,AML and Forex is preferred.
