Bang & Olufsen Installation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

The Installation Specialist is accountable for the daily installation/operation service provided to our customers and works in close cooperation with the Installation Manager. The Installation Specialist has ownership of the installation process at individual customers’ sites. The installation work includes termination and testing of cables, installation and testing of products, third party set-up (internet, Apple TV, etc), casing work as well as cleaning of site after the installation.

As Installation Specialist, you will:

1. Carry out all daily product installations at our customers’ sites
2. Assist Team Leader in accounting for all the products and/or cables used in customer’s site
3. Maintain a high standard of service to ensure optimum quality (company/B&O standard) and completion of daily site installation work as required
4. Ensure that the customer’s place or site is kept clean after completing the work / before leaving
5. Ensure that technical knowledge is up to date especially with the new products (via internal online training system and classroom training)
6. Report to the office at 08:30am where the tasks of the day are allocated among the 3 installation teams/vans and information about the tasks is provided, before the Installation Specialists proceed to prepare the vans with all necessary equipment needed to carry out the tasks of the day at customers’ sites.

Requirements

To succeed as Installation Specialist, you must:

1. Possess good technical / IT / network knowledge
2. Have a minimum of 2 years relevant working experience with installation of Audio/Video equipment and/or IT cables, networks etc
3. Be able to provide outstanding service to external clients and be passionate about solving their problems
4. Consider problems to be a challenge rather than an obstacle – always focusing on finding the best solution for the customer
5. Be devoted and always seek to be well-prepared and well-informed before a job task
6. Be capable of working independently and well under pressure
7. Possess good scheduling and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
8. Be organised, focused on quality and pay attention to the smallest detail
9. Have good communication and interpersonal skills (communicate well with clients and colleagues)
10. Be responsible and reliable
11. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour
12. Hold a Singapore Class 3 driving license
13. Speak fluent English; Mandarin would be beneficial

5-day work week Mon - Fri 08.30am – 17.30pm
