We are seeking a results-driven and dynamic Bancassurance Team Manager to lead and manage a team of insurance specialists within our bank. The role is responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and developing effective bancassurance strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of insurance products, and the ability to motivate and coach a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Lead, coach, and manage a team of insurance specialists to achieve sales targets for life and general insurance products.
Develop and implement strategies to increase insurance penetration across the bank’s customer base.
Collaborate with branch managers and relationship managers to drive cross-selling opportunities.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the bank’s insurance portfolio.
Team Management & Development:
Recruit, train, and develop insurance specialists to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions to ensure team members meet their goals.
Foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Organize training sessions in collaboration with insurance partners to keep the team updated on the latest products and market trends.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, or financial advisory, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Certifications: Certified in relevant insurance licensing requirements as per regulatory guidelines.
