Job description

Job Descriptions

  1. Report to Head Pastry Chef and support Sous Chef/Jr Sous Chef
  2. Prepare all baked goods, French pastries, and other baked items
  3. Prepare ingredients, handle baking and other kitchen equipment according to SOP to achieve consistency in food execution and quality
  4. Practice food safety & hygiene procedures at all times
  5. Pack and store raw materials and finished goods
  6. Store food in accordance with food safety standards
  7. Create pastries, baked goods, and confections
  8. Decorate pastries and desserts to ensure tasteful presentation
  9. Maintain cleanliness and follow basic hygiene requirements with good personal hygiene
  10. Inspect and ensure the kitchen area is clean and clear, and all kitchen equipment is well-maintained after use
  11. Inspect and ensure that the workstation meets NEA hygiene standards at all times
  12. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company

Job Requirements:

  1. At least 1-2 years of bakery experience
  2. Passionate about providing efficient and friendly service
  3. Outgoing personality, highly motivated, and able to take initiative
  4. Preferably hold a recognized Basic Food Hygiene certification
  5. Able to work weekends and public holidays
