Backend/Full Stack Software Web Developer (Many Positions)

We are seeking a talented Backend Software Web Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development and be skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend logic that powers our web-based platforms. As a Backend Software Web Developer, you will collaborate with frontend developers, Product Owners, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications. This role requires experience in server-side programming, database management, and API integration, along with a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for creating efficient and robust web solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain the backend components of web applications.
2. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
3. Build and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.
4. Implement APIs for third-party integrations and internal services.
5. Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement features that enhance the user experience.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend web development.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Backend Developer, focusing on web applications.
2. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
3. Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
4. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services.
5. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
6. Experience with asynchronous operations or event-driven architectures is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
9. Preferably has experience in Agile development or relevant SCRUM practices.
