Business Function

DBS’ Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client’s needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) across PB (Private Bank) & TPC (Treasures Private Client) teams, providing continuous guidance, coaching and mentoring to ARMs.
  • Build a strong and sustainable team of ARMs, focusing on learning & development, career development and mitigating attrition. Maintains strong partnership with Business, HR and L&D.
  • Support the PB & TPC business, embracing business priorities and strategies
  • Partner the PB & TPC leadership teams for ARM management, control & governance matters as well as participates in business initiatives and projects.
  • Attends the various leadership meetings and forums as well as the respective market region team meetings.
  • Takes the lead to ensure strong focus on control items.
  • Takes the lead to share best practices across the wealth segments and across the market regions – Hong Kong, Dubai, London. Collaborates with the overseas booking centres to share best practices.
  • Acts as a Change Agent to champion process improvement to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintains strong partnership with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 8 years of Private Banking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the wealth products & services and procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Good planning and organizing capability, ability to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to conduct presentation.
  • Self-motivated team player with good sales/service aptitude who would enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment.
