AVP/ Senior Associate, Business Analyst, Institutional Banking Technology, Group Technology

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders to elicit and validate business requirements.
  • Possess excellent business & technical subject matter knowledge.
  • Leverage the subject matter experts in T&O in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.
  • Become an effective "bridge" between users and technology.
  • Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements in each stage of the project.
  • Implemented solutions should meet business needs, thereby suggesting there are no gaps from the user requirements.
  • Ability to help solution for users whenever a business problem may require a technical solution, especially in pre-project stages.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in these areas:
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with various IT tools, technologies, and platforms relevant to corporate banking operations
  • Corporate Banking & Integration: Understanding of corporate banking operations and integration with external partners.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical & Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations and find effective solutions.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Project Management & SDLC: Proven experience in project management, SDLC processes, and testing methodologies.
  • Documentation: Proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specifications.
  • Experience with business workflow management systems.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools.
