Lead the strategic identification, evaluation, and acquisition of robotics/AI companies to align with the organization’s growth objectives and innovation strategy.
Oversee the end-to-end due diligence process for potential acquisitions, ensuring that financial, legal, operational, and technological aspects are thoroughly analyzed to assess the viability and value of target companies.
Develop and refine financial models to assess the value of potential targets, including revenue forecasts, market potential, and cost structures, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership, legal, finance, product, and technical teams to ensure that acquisition targets meet both strategic and operational requirements.
Conduct in-depth market research on the robotics/AI industry to identify emerging trends, potential acquisition targets, and competitive positioning.
Lead and manage the end-to-end M&A transaction process, including negotiations, structuring of deals, and integration planning, ensuring smooth execution and timely closing.
Evaluate risks associated with potential acquisitions, including technological, operational, and market risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired companies into the organization, monitoring performance and ensuring that the intended strategic benefits are realized.
Stay updated on M&A best practices, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to continuously refine the acquisition strategy.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 10-12 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on technology, robotics, or AI industries.
Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-acquisition integration.
Strong understanding of the robotics/AI industry, with the ability to evaluate the technological and market potential of acquisition targets.
Expertise in conducting financial analysis, valuations, and risk assessments, with a keen eye for identifying key value drivers in acquisitions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Knowledge of post-acquisition integration strategies, with a focus on maximizing the strategic value of acquisitions.
