Job description

Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities

We are looking for a self-starter with strong documentation skills, independent and able to rise to challenges and meet deadlines effectively. The candidate is to:

  1. Perform technical and compliance checks of Floor Stock, Block Discounting, Hire Purchase drawdown requests, invoices and supporting documents received and ensure that they are in order.
  2. Conduct online vehicle valuation for vehicle cases.
  3. Conduct encumbrance searches on the vehicles and equipment & enhanced searches (bankruptcy etc) on Borrower/Guarantor.
  4. Perform post-acceptance technical verification of accepted Letters of Offer/Letters of Variation and all in-house security documents received for all banking facilities to ensure complete documentation prior to activation.
  5. Prepare letters of appointment of Lawyers where required.
  6. Liaise and follow-up with Relationship Managers, Customers/Car Dealers and Suppliers for submission of drawdown requests, invoices and other supporting documents.
  7. Liaise with internal departments for Floor Stock / Block Discounting / HP activation / disbursement / extension of Floor Stock.
  8. Ensure smooth processing of day-to-day transactions within stipulated Service Level Agreement.
  9. Collaborate well with team members and colleagues across business/support units.
  10. Participate in team/department projects and initiatives which include drafting user requirements, test cases and executing UAT.
  11. Initiating and driving process improvement within the team to achieve productivity gains.

Requirements

  1. Degree with at least 8 years relevant working experience.
  2. Strong in data extraction and analytical skill.
  3. Self-motivated, strong attention to details skills, good organizational skills, able to multi-task and work under tight timeline.
  4. Market and business knowledge in equipment and vehicle Hire Purchase financing, including Block Discounting and Floor Stock is preferred.
