The Protective Services Aviation Security Guard (ASG) is responsible for access control into Sterile Area (LSZ), Security Restricted Area (SRA) & Enhanced Inspection Area (EIA) to airport staff, stakeholders & visitors at Sydney Airport. The ASG is required to perform operational processes and procedures at the Sydney Airport. He/she is the first point of contact for staff entering into restricted areas of Sydney Airport, and therefore is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of operational and procedural compliance under his/her control. Critical to the ASG's position at (Aviation Protective Services-Tier 1) is the ability to nurture an engaging climate of communication and understanding whilst maintaining the highest levels of security.

Key Responsibilities
Actively work with the SNP Airport Protective Services Manager, Ramp Supervisor, Security 1 (AOCC) and the Sydney Airport SOC to implement and maintain operational policies, processes and procedures.
Maintain the security of assigned premises and property at Sydney Airport.
Operate In Accordance With (IAW) the SNP Airport Security Job Family.
Provide security with service in accordance with SNP policies & SOPs whilst achieving all security outcomes for the designated position.
Understand the “Enclosed Lands Protection Act 1901 (NSW)”.
Qualification
Senior First Aid Certificate
NSW Security Industry Licence 1A/1A Provisional
Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
NSW Driver’s Licence Class C
